The core loop has genuine appeal — upgrading your roster, unlocking factions, and watching a chaotic side-scrolling army snowball is entertaining in bursts — and the boss-defeat CG gallery with voice acting gives dedicated fans something to work toward. The art, while divisive in its heavily latex-and-body-horror aesthetic, is the game's clearest selling point; players who click with the fetish will find enough visual content to justify the price. That said, the community is fairly united on the gameplay shortcomings.
