Kinks Quest is a charming early-access love letter to Sierra's classic point-and-click adventure games—King's Quest in particular—but transplanted into adult territory. The pixel art is sharp and nostalgic, the core "drawing" mechanic is genuinely inventive, and the developer has explicitly committed to avoiding the brutal dead-ends that defined the originals, which is the right call. Community sentiment is warm and engaged: players appreciate the throwback aesthetic and promise of the concept, and the dev is responsive to feedback. However, the build is still very early (v0.02 at best), content is sparse, and one crash on room-entry has been reported. This is a project worth following if you're drawn to pixel-art adventure games and don't mind waiting for the story to develop—but go in knowing you're banking on potential, not a complete experience yet.
Description
Kinks Quest is a point-and-click adventure game set in the Witchlands, a mysterious fantasy realm ruled by a powerful Witch Queen. The player embarks on an epic quest to seek the Witch Queen's aid in learning magic and saving their homeland from destruction. Along the journey, you encounter a diverse cast of fantasy characters—Elves, Fae, Mermaids, Witches, and others—each with their own desires that can be fulfilled through exploration and interaction.
Gameplay centers on classic point-and-click mechanics: collecting items, solving environmental puzzles, and using inventory objects to unlock new areas and advance relationships with NPCs. The game features magical-themed sexual content, including animated scenes that incorporate fantasy elements such as portals, levitation, body swapping, and enlargement. Progress involves improving relations with characters through problem-solving and intimate encounters, with player agency in naming their character and managing their appearance.
