Kagura Survivors: Endless Night is a free bullet-hell Vampire Survivors-like with H-content available via a patch from the developer's website. The core loop—survive, dodge, and watch enemies die to your passive scaling—is engaging enough for a no-cost title, and players report getting lost in extended play sessions. However, the game is effectively abandoned: it underwent a complete engine rewrite and rebuild in early access, then received no meaningful updates for over a year. The current build has real problems: major late-game bugs (boss invincibility frames triggering incorrectly), single-stage runtimes stretching past 30 minutes with no speed-up option, clunky attack-direction mechanics that don't allow off-axis damage while moving, and a very thin roster (one character, repeated map variations). Community consensus is split between those who appreciate the free, mindless fun and those frustrated by the unfinished state and lack of development.
