Editorial Worth it
A roguelike roguelike with surprising mechanical depth and charm. Players control a demon hand slapping enemies and bosses across eight levels, choosing from nine distinct glove variants with wildly different playstyles—summoning, rhythm-based, projectile-focused, or straightforward brawling. Each run branches into dozens of build paths through synergy-based stat combinations and artifact selection. The art is vibrant, all scenes are animated and fully voiced, and the writing lands comedic beats reliably. However, the game has two genuine problems: the gallery is sparse (11 scenes for an adult game at this price point), and combat demands constant mouse movement, which several players report causes wrist strain—a real accessibility concern, not mere preference. Some reviewers also note the final boss feels overtuned compared to earlier fights, and the postgame lacks scaling or endless modes to sustain engagement. The game succeeds as a playable roguelike that happens to be erotic, not the reverse, which is its strength and its limitation.
