In Memoriam is a pixel-art survival horror game. You awaken on a beach with no memories and no sense of direction, armed only with a flashlight against the encroaching darkness. Shadowy entities lurk around you—real or imagined—and you must use light as your primary defense to survive the night. As you progress, fragmented memories surface in your mind, though you cannot be certain if they are your own or belong to someone else. The core gameplay centers on resource management (keeping your flashlight charged), combat against shadow creatures, and collecting memory fragments scattered throughout the environment. Through these memories and the mystery you unravel, you piece together the truth of your own identity and the psychological horror of your situation.
