In Due Time is an early-chapter adult VN with promising character art and solid writing fundamentals, but it's hamstrung by jarring narrative logic—character motivations strain credibility, and the protagonist sometimes reads as artificially incompetent for story convenience. The phone UI is a notorious pain point (requires ESC to close), and sexual content is sparse: ~1400 renders with only 2–3 sex scenes so far, one of which is a dream. Player concern about the developer's track record is real—four abandoned games prior—though two current projects exist. Opinion splits sharply: some find the early-stage foundation promising and the character roster appealing; others see a familiar sandbox template with too much runway before payoff.
