Editorial Meh
Imp Village is a compact lewd game with decent voice acting and pleasant enough pixel art, but it's hamstrung by a poor AI translation that fails to do the writing justice—and overshadowed by serious security concerns with the English executable. Multiple players report the English .exe triggering malware warnings and exhibiting suspicious behavior (process injection, persistence mechanisms, crypto-mining infrastructure connections), while the Japanese version shows no such red flags. The core game itself seems inoffensive and serviceable for its niche audience, but the current English build is unsafe to run, and relying on community-patched MTL translations or the untranslated Japanese version defeats much of the point. Unless the developers issue a clean, properly localized release, this is a hard pass.
