Identity Crisis

Editorial Meh

Identity Crisis is an early-access adult VN with a comedic tone and branching choice mechanics. Players report the core writing has promise and humor lands for those into its style, but the build suffers from significant English-language issues—spelling errors, grammar problems, and mistranslations—that undermine immersion and readability. Community feedback is sparse on narrative depth, though there is divided opinion on specific content: some find the supernatural/dream sequences funny, others view them as tonally jarring or uncomfortable. The developer appears active in refining technical aspects (compression, file formats) but proofreading remains an unresolved pain point. Worth keeping an eye on if you enjoy rough-around-the-edges VNs, but expect to encounter language issues that break the experience right now.
