Horny for Change is an RPG with a distinctive anthro protagonist and a stated commitment to genuine gay content alongside straight and bisexual routes—a rare parity that has earned cautious praise from players tired of LGBTQ+ routes treated as afterthoughts. The creative direction is solid: no AI art, character-driven writing, and a willingness to explore fetish content (body transformation, weight gain) with toggles for player preference. However, the current build is rough. Random encounters are mandatory and lengthy, breaking pacing; missing animation errors recur; and collision bugs (wall-clipping in early areas) suggest the game is mid-development. The UI lacks standard QoL features like save slots and battle-speed controls that players expect. Feedback is sparse on overall story or character depth, so it's hard to judge the writing beyond community goodwill toward the premise.
