Homelands is an early-stage adult action game that has caught some attention for its visual style and its creature/monster-focused content. Players curious about loss-of-control mechanics and non-human encounters seem intrigued by the concept, and a few voices express genuine hope for more story, more enemy variety, and expanded game mechanics around both victory and defeat scenarios. The feedback is sparse and shallow overall, so deep creative assessment is not really possible yet. On the technical side, multiple recent reviews flag antivirus warnings from Chrome, Windows Defender, and Norton — and while some suspect false positives (VirusTotal reportedly shows clean), the issue has clearly spooked a chunk of the community.
