Hikari: First Interlude

A sci-fi narrative visual novel set aboard the NMV Aquilla, a cargo ferry traveling between the last surviving worlds of a dying galaxy. You play as the protagonist, a former Guardia warrior marooned on a dead world and rescued by a rogue princess named Sasayaki. Your companions include Tsuki, an undead servant bound to you, and Hikari, a mysterious girl whose origins remain unclear. The ship is commanded by a corrupt and perverted Captain who controls the many women aboard and seeks to claim your companions for himself. The game is heavily choice-driven, with branching paths determining whether you can protect your companions, form a harem, or fall victim to betrayal and loss. It blends romantic and sexual content with science fiction worldbuilding and explores themes of survival, power, and relationships in a post-apocalyptic setting plagued by a devastating swarm organism called the Loci.
