Hentai Climber is a bare-bones anime-girl platformer — think Only Up-style vertical climbing with a bikini protagonist — that delivers exactly what its title promises and little else. The art and the simple premise do find an audience happy to pay its budget price, and a handful of players genuinely enjoy chasing faster speedrun times. Criticism is loud and consistent, however: hit-boxes are unreliable, ledge-grabbing feels random, the character turns invisible mid-run, and achievements fail to track — bugs that multiple reviewers across different languages all hit independently. The creative package is thin by design and the game knows it; its value proposition is essentially "cute anime girl climbs things for cheap," and for that narrow pitch it is adequately assembled, if not inspired. The technical side is a different story: the invisibility glitch alone makes a significant portion of the run effectively unplayable, and that is a real, repeated complaint rather than an isolated case.
