Editorial Has potential
Heat In Season is a lewd arcade-game pastiche set in the Undertale/Deltarune universe, mixing bullet-dodging mechanics with character routes and hidden scenes. Players praise the music, the absurdist humor (especially the dad jokes), and the satisfying unlock system once you find the Konami code—but the game is genuinely broken in ways that matter. Save corruption, dialogue loops, sprite glitches, and panicky crashes force full restarts mid-route, destroying momentum on a game where progression is already opaque and puzzle-like. The Toriel route in particular is byzantine and prone to glitching; the community has had to crowdsource workarounds. The creative work itself—the writing, the character dynamics, the arcade framing—is solid for its niche, but the build is in such rough shape that many players hit hard walls and give up.
