Goblin King is an early-access adult RPG with a solid foundation: players appreciate its atmosphere, character variety (including femboys and planned futa content), and the developer's active engagement with the community. However, the game is plagued by a critical missing-file bug (skill2.ogg) that breaks the mining minigame and forces players to manually patch the game themselves—a serious barrier to entry. Beyond that, the store minigame's success-chance mechanic is confusing and poorly explained, leaving players frustrated; quest progression has gaps (unfinished dialogue and missing character interactions); and English translation issues are frequent enough to distract, though the developer has acknowledged this and plans professional correction. The game has potential and clear direction, but it's not ready for smooth play without player troubleshooting.
