Editorial Has potential
Goblin Gnight Garuru is an early-access game with a solid foundation that shows real promise. The core card-game mechanics are engaging, the art is generally appealing, and the developer is actively responsive and communicative about their roadmap (targeting v1.0 by mid-2024). However, the game is still rough around the edges: players report recurring bugs including freeze loops, softlock scenarios in boss fights, and other crashes that interrupt play. The pace of development has also drawn some frustration—updates are infrequent relative to community appetite. For those willing to engage with an unfinished project, the creative direction is worth following; for others, waiting for a more stable build is the sensible call.
