GClub

Editorial Meh

GClub aspires to be a Venus Club successor—a management sim where you run a sex-work business across a city, using the VC girlpack format. The concept has real appeal to fans of that ecosystem, and the dev is visibly engaged with feedback. However, this release is fundamentally premature. The build is broken on most systems: UI elements scale off-screen or fail to respond reliably (photoshoot slot moves unpredictably), save/load is corrupted (areas unlock, then lock again on reload), there's no proper exit, and it demands 4K resolution with no downscale option—a barrier for most players. Beyond the technical wreckage, the design is unfinished: unclear mechanics (what does popularity do?), poor tutorialization (how do you recruit girls?), grating minigames (click-to-earn rhythm), and progression walls (300 reputation grinds) that feel arbitrary. The dev admits this was uploaded too early, and the community consensus is clear: wait for the next version. For now, the game is unplayable for the majority and unfinished for those it does run on.
