Fuck Your Way to the Top is a deck-building strategy game built on solid mechanical foundations—players praise its card-game design, party variety, and the appeal of unlocking new content. However, the current build is severely broken: crashes on startup, cascading errors during gameplay, save corruption, and widespread missing assets (images, descriptions, and character data replaced with placeholder text) make it effectively unplayable for most. The developer has only recently attempted to resurrect the project after it was abandoned; while some fixes have landed in v0.4.3, multiple recent reports confirm the game still crashes or fails to launch entirely, and even when it runs, basic features like saving do not work reliably. Community interest remains, and the creative vision is sound, but the build needs far more stability work before it's worth anyone's time.
