FR Terminal Decomposition Introduction Work Report

A sandbox-style 3D action game set on a fictional Japanese island, Kizakishima. You play as Kizama Ichiyo, a self-proclaimed exorcist who perceives and eliminates mysterious creatures invisible to ordinary people. When she notices an unusual surge in these entities during routine patrols, she investigates to uncover the source of the disturbance and restore peace to the island. Combat involves striking down enemies while learning their patterns and weaknesses—some are immune to direct physical attacks and require you to exploit elemental techniques (water, wind) to defeat them. As you progress, you enter dungeon-like environments within temples, shrines, and caves, where you solve environmental puzzles: finding switches and keys to unlock doors, and using special techniques to trigger distant mechanisms. The difficulty is tuned to be fair, with hints (delivered as the protagonist's internal monologue) appearing after time spent on particularly challenging sections. Boss encounters require strategy and timing to overcome their unique defensive traits.
