Fleeting Dreams is an RPG visual novel set in a parallel universe inspired by ancient China during the prosperous Zhong Dynasty. You play as an adult who, after being separated from your little sister during a childhood bandit attack, has grown up with your loyal butler Song Kuan. Now facing financial hardship, you must leave behind dreams of taking the Imperial Exams and instead build a life in the bustling commercial city of Yingzhou. The game blends life simulation with narrative choices, letting you navigate work opportunities, forge relationships, and explore different careers while maintaining hope of reuniting with your sister.
