Feral Planet is an early-access beast-fucking game with a male protagonist—a rarity in the genre that has earned genuine goodwill from players tired of the female-MC default. The core concept lands: exploration, combat, and scripted encounters with animal characters (notably Cynder, a dragon, and Nala, a lioness) work well enough for a short demo. AI-generated art is consistent in style, and the karma system (moral choices affecting available scenes) shows thoughtful design. However, the game is thin. Players report 5–10 minutes of content, only two branching paths, and no repeatability: scenes lock after a single encounter, encounters are gated behind quests, and the forest feels barren once quests end. Writing draws mixed reactions—some praise the concept; others find it weak or obviously AI-generated, and a few note that unavoidable sex scenes with NPCs prevent platonic interaction. Technical issues include save-file incompatibility when filters change and occasional missing-scene errors. The game has genuine potential and developer engagement is strong, but it needs substantially more content, replayability, and polish before it justifies sustained attention.
