Editorial Has potential

Famished: Hazel's Journey is a vore-focused adventure with puzzle-exploration and character romance, anchored by a weight-gain mechanic and varied predator/prey/observer content. The community consensus is clear: the creative work lands solidly for its audience — players praise the volume of scenes, quest variety, and character appeal (especially the diverse cast). However, the current build is rough. Version 28 is already live on Patreon but either delayed or buggy on other platforms; players are actively hunting for bug-fix patches, posting links to share saves, and requesting updated guides. The game also lacks basic quality-of-life features: no built-in quest log forces players to rely on external guides, and some content remains obscurely placed or poorly signposted. For fans of the genre willing to tolerate a janky, guide-dependent experience, the underlying game is worth the effort; for others, the friction will be real.

Description

Guide the morally questionable decisions of Hazel, a dog-girl mercenary, as she navigates a war-ravaged fantasy world. This RPG combines tactical combat, exploration, and choice-driven narrative, with an emphasis on the vore fetish—the core mechanic revolves around consumption of defeated or befriended NPCs, with persistent consequences and weight progression affecting gameplay and scenes. Meet companions and allies across multiple regions, complete quests, build relationships, and make decisions that reshape the world around you—whether that means growing stronger by consuming others or building bonds that may lead to darker outcomes.
