Editorial Has potential
Fallen Soldier is a short, pixel-art action game with decent animations that borrows heavily from the Metal Slug formula. Players consistently praise the visual execution—pixel work and animations are noted as "quite good"—and most who finished it found it a fun, quick experience. However, the game suffers from real technical problems: missing or broken audio on end-game CG animations (a recurring complaint across versions), items disappearing after save/load or between levels, and inconsistent settings. The sex-scene gallery also lacks manual progression control, forcing players to sit through full animations. Gameplay feedback is mixed: the difficulty curve is uneven (a brutal first boss followed by easier stages), weapon variety is limited, and there's not much content overall. For a completed release, the audio and save bugs are serious enough that many encounters them; treat this as a playable but rough experience.
