Editorial Has potential
Fall of Haven is a promising action-RPG with solid mechanical foundations and ambitious transformation/expansion content that appeals to a dedicated niche. Players consistently praise the core combat feel and the rarity of well-executed body-modification gameplay, but the game is held back by significant control issues: mouse-only movement and unintuitive dodge mechanics create friction that frustrates players despite the underlying fun. The build is rough and notably unstable — animation loops fail to complete, status effects break character state (animation lock, flight malfunction), and platform support is limited to a local-server HTML workaround with browser compatibility concerns. Community feedback is engaged and constructive; players are excited about where the game is heading, but the current state needs real control redesign and debugging before it reaches its potential.
