Editorial Has potential
Dominate presents an appealing monster-girl RPG with stylized art and a concept that hooks the community, but a web of progression bugs and unclear mechanics is currently strangling the experience. Players praise the character variety and art direction, but report critical issues: resource-gathering displays showing incorrect amounts (claiming 3 but awarding 2), armor and defense stats vanishing after combat despite being in inventory, and a confusing "capture" system that actually amounts to paying NPCs with no clear in-game prompt. The sex scenes, while present, are underwritten—dialogue freezes during intimate moments, limiting immersion. The grind itself is not excessive, but when combined with these UX failures and mechanic ambiguity, many players give up mid-run. The game shows real promise (already at v0.9 with solid progress), but needs urgent fixes to its core systems before the final push.
