Editorial Meh
Dirty League is a match-3 puzzle RPG with team-building depth that genuinely engages players who commit to strategy—several report discovering skill-based counters to brute-force opponents and enjoying the theorycraft of ability combinations. The core loop, art style, and character collection hook a real audience. However, the game is built around aggressive monetization that dominates the experience: a hard paywall arrives within hours, gem currency must be bought (not earned), and progression grinds severely without spending. Worse, numerous players report rigged matchmaking and combat—opponents spawn with impossible damage output mid-battle regardless of visible stats, the game autochooses gem moves, and ability effects fail to trigger reliably. Opinions split sharply: those who play casually or whale enjoy it; those who expect fair f2p progression feel cheated. The build is also rough: constant connection drops, infinite load loops on rematches, and save corruption for some users.
