Editorial Don't bother
Diana Story is a female-protagonist sandbox that has charm in its premise and character, but development has stalled dramatically. The game is effectively unplayable in its current state: progression breaks after the uniform segment, with players unable to advance the day cycle, access new locations, or trigger stat-dependent events despite following available actions. The developer has been silent for nine months, and the last functional update (v0.16) added minimal content and introduced regressions—the roommate, a key narrative element, now avoids the player entirely. What little gameplay exists is marred by tedious minigames and empty padding (long commutes, repetitive naps) that frustrate rather than engage. The core appeal—a story-driven corruption arc with a female lead—remains unrealized; players report maxing stats with no payoff and hitting hard design walls. Until the developer returns with meaningful progress, this is unfinished and unplayable.
