The majority of negative reviewers agree on the same core complaints: the "story" is effectively absent (one reviewer says the narrative fits on a napkin), there is only one romanceable character, choices have almost no meaningful impact, and many of the unlockable scenes are blurry or low quality. A persistent UI resolution bug that blacks out the screen edges — still unpatched after months — drew specific criticism, and the mandatory mini-games with no skip option frustrated several players.
