Editorial Has potential
Corrupted Dreams presents an inventive timeloop structure across three distinct dream settings—a high school, a luxury yacht, and ancient Egypt—each with its own cast of characters and escalating corruption levels. The developer has learned from past projects' design pitfalls (excessive grinding, narrative bloat from Patreon pressure) and deliberately rebuilt this game to prioritize creative freedom: scenes can vary wildly by dream without needing to connect to a master plot, and the corruption system resets and reshuffles events rather than padding them with grind. Community feedback on the creative work is sparse but positive where it exists—players praise the premise, the variety of settings and character archetypes, and curiosity about the overarching mystery. However, the current build has real technical issues: corruption advancement bugs (hint screen errors crashing on round 2), mixed-up choice outcomes in at least one scene, and placeholder events still in the game. The design is sound and ambitious; the execution is not yet there.
