Editorial Meh
Corpse City is an ambitious survival-management game in very early development that shows promise but is currently hampered by both design and technical problems. The core loop of managing resources, building shelter, and engaging in combat against raiders has potential, but players consistently report frustrating early-game balance (cooking drains almost all energy, character progression is slow) and recurring bugs—most notably ResizeObserver errors during combat that can crash or hide the HUD, broken cost displays for actions, and inventory/companion tracking issues. The developer is actively working on a major engine rewrite and expansion, which explains some instability, but the current build is rough enough that many abandon it mid-playthrough. If you have patience for a work-in-progress and don't mind losing saves between updates, there's something worth following here; otherwise, wait for a more stable milestone.
