Editorial Meh
Cherry's Dungeon presents an interesting blend of dungeon-crawler and adult content with elves, succubi, and transformation themes, but the execution struggles on multiple fronts. The creative vision—a player sucked into a magical game world—is undermined by a thin story, AI-generated character art that mars visual consistency, and a core bait-and-switch on player choice: initial character customization (female vs. femboy) proves meaningless, as the protagonist is locked into a transgender transformation regardless. Sex scenes are brief and largely feature femdom dynamics where the protagonist is used rather than dominant, which contradicts the game's tagging. The few dedicated players praise the puzzle and RPG elements, but most feedback centers on disappointment with narrative depth, artistic quality, and sexual content delivery. The build itself is rough: Linux compatibility is unreliable (Wine workarounds required for some players), file-hosting issues have triggered malware warnings, and hand/finger rendering glitches are visible even in promotional screenshots. Community feedback is thin and divided—praise comes from niche-interest players (trap and transformation fans), while more critical voices flag substantial creative and technical shortcomings. Not recommended unless the specific fantasy (femdom transformation in a dungeon) is a strong personal draw.
