Bound Hearts is a family-corruption VN with strong visual appeal—players consistently praise the models and renders—but the writing is a persistent weak point. The narrative logic repeatedly breaks immersion: reviewers cite illogical plot beats (the debt premise, the police encounter, the MC's career choices), heavy-handed or recycled dialogue, and suspected AI generation in places. Some suspect ChatGPT involvement in the script. The incest content itself divides opinion (full vs. selective family routes), which is normal for the genre, but the structural and dialogue problems are not a matter of taste. On the build side, v0.4 runs stably; v0.5 is announced and in final stages.
