Editorial Meh
Blessing of the Princess is an adult action-adventure with ambitious scope: players praise its content volume, character interactions, and moments when combat shifts into Dynasty Warriors-style spectacle. However, the game is hamstrung by persistent technical and design problems. Save functionality is broken or unintuitive (manual saves fail to load correctly, autosave is absent), checkpoints are sparse, and progression is blocked by unclear objectives—many players report getting stuck without signposting, losing an hour or more of play to crashes or save corruption. Boss encounters have opaque mechanics (the werewolf fight generates repeated confusion). The lack of a gallery despite the sexual content further frustrates players seeking a reason to replay. Community opinion divides sharply: some find the game charming and content-rich despite its rough edges; others call it nearly unplayable tedium. For an unfinished game, this creative ambition is interesting; for a released product, the execution is too fractured to recommend without warning.
