Beta Life

Beta Life is a college-life sandbox adventure game where you create and shape your own protagonist as a freshman navigating parties, social relationships, and personal growth. The game emphasizes player choice and self-determination—who you are, your lifestyle, and what you achieve are entirely up to you. Gameplay combines point-and-click exploration, turn-based combat, puzzles, and mini-games, with extensive use of an in-game phone system featuring multiple apps for tasks, social networking (like the Blueddit forum and TubeLube video platform), character relationships, and inventory management. The experience is punctuated with a substantial original soundtrack, dynamic time systems with morning/afternoon/night cycles, and expandable social interactions with named characters.
