Editorial Has potential
Becoming Incubus is a sandbox transformation game with a futa-focused premise and branching character routes. The core appeal is strong: players praise the wealth of content for an early build, the flexibility to pursue different corruption paths, and the engaging character interactions. Community feedback splits on content taste—some want more futa representation, others want to preserve male-only or traditional male-female options—but these are preference disputes, not quality issues. However, the build is plagued by critical bugs that block core systems: the stats mirror crashes with attribute errors, the inventory breaks when fully upgraded, and several UI elements disappear mid-game. These are not minor polish issues; they prevent access to essential menus and make progression impossible for affected players. The sandbox design and navigation are also confusing (players struggle to find subway events, unclear progression triggers), and a walkthrough is desperately needed. For those who avoid the crash zones, there's substantial content to enjoy; for others, the game is effectively unplayable.
