Becoming Incubus is a corruption VN with solid mechanical depth and rewarding progression loops. Players consistently praise the character writing, satisfying dialogue shifts tied to corruption, and the variety of income-generation activities—massage parlor, photo studio, and delivery routes each have their own feel and pacing. The community is engaged and forgiving of rough edges, but a real problem has emerged: a bug where the inventory UI disappears after unlocking Mirror Vision, leaving some players stuck and unable to access their inventory outside of sex scenes. Beyond that, progression feels opaque after the early game; players report getting lost after maxing the mirror and unlocking the club, with no clear signposting of what comes next. Content-wise, the game leans into femboy / gay themes and features avoidable NTR and futa content, which some players appreciate and others skip. The build is playable and engaging, but the inventory bug and unclear progression late-game hold it back from feeling fully baked.
