Editorial Meh
Be Good at Something is a transformation sandbox that follows an athletic male student magically turned female by his girlfriend—a premise with genuine appeal for the niche audience interested in gender transformation narratives. However, the game is hamstrung by severe presentation problems: pervasive grammar and spelling errors (described by players as machine-translated or AI-generated), limited actual choices despite the sandbox tag, and a narrative that railroads players toward submission regardless of input. More damaging still is the disconnect between the "completed" label and reality: the free version appears stripped of content, with players reporting no meaningful progression beyond early days and suspicions that most story branches are paywalled on Patreon. The core transformation and relationship dynamics have merit, but execution—both in prose quality and in scope—falls well short of justifying the $20 price tag or "completed" claim.
