Editorial Meh
Azoth is an NTR revenge game with some genuinely praised animated scenes and a story that subverts the typical cuck-and-move-on formula — players who stuck with it found the content and side content entertaining enough, and a few called it "pretty kino." The decisive stumbling block, raised consistently, is the opening act: a prolonged walking-simulator-style prologue with awkward map design that drives players away before they reach the more involving second half of the game. On the technical side, the revenge sequences — reportedly the most anticipated content — remain untranslated from Japanese in at least some builds, which is a meaningful gap given the game's story ambitions. Animated scenes also fail to render on Joiplay (Android), limiting the mobile audience. The NTR framing itself divides the room: some felt the game's betrayal-and-revenge focus strays too far from conventional NTR to satisfy genre fans, while others saw that as a refreshing change. Factor in where you land on that before diving in.
