Ayane: The Pregnancy Planet is a roguelite action game dressed in provocative sci-fi clothing. The core loop—guiding a sperm cell through increasingly hostile environments while collecting DNA to unlock upgrades—is mechanically sound and occasionally satisfying, especially once progression opens up the ability to fight back against antibodies. However, the experience is hampered by a design that front-loads tedium: early runs are slow and punishing, death resets partial progress, and the gameplay loop becomes repetitive across multiple playthroughs. The H-content, while animated and uncensored, is sparse (6 scenes) and difficult to unlock; reviewers consistently note the sexual material feels secondary to the grind, with limited variety and modest art quality. Most players who engaged positively came for the novel concept and low price, not sustained gameplay depth or practical adult content. Recent reports of security warnings and crashes on the Steam uncensored build are serious and unresolved.
