Editorial Has potential
Altair of Strife is a narrative-driven NTR-adjacent RPG that players praise for its surprisingly strong storytelling and emotional weight. The premise—a father working to reclaim his life after his wife's abduction—subverts genre expectations by centering reclamation over degradation, and the true ending payoff justifies the grind for those invested in the characters. However, the game is held back by significant friction: the RPGM combat loop is described as a tedious grindfest, and the current build suffers from poor guidance and multiple documented pathfinding bugs (invisible walls, quest sequences that break if you exit the castle at the wrong time, NPCs disappearing). The UI is confusing, progression requires external guides, and the experience feels half-baked despite the quality art and writing. If you're willing to wrestle with the mechanics and follow community walkthroughs, the narrative payoff is worthwhile; if you want a smooth, polished experience, this is not it yet.
