Alice's Adventures in Transformation Wonderland is a solo passion project with genuine artistic ambition — the art direction and animation are consistently praised as strong and directional — but it is currently in rough, early-access shape. The Unity rebuild has introduced serious bugs: save corruption, softlocks, dialogue progression failures, and CPU spikes that affect even high-end hardware. The developer is actively aware and releasing fixes (often within days), has made a Ren'Py fallback available, and communicates candidly about the struggle of solo development on a minimal budget.
