Editorial Has potential
Aeternum: The Awakening is an ambitious fantasy RPG with real mechanical depth—combat has teeth, the world rewards exploration, and character relationships demand genuine investment rather than handing out romance on demand. The developer's transparent vision is refreshing: a living world with consequences, where some creatures follow their nature (succubi aren't monogamous; elves have their own codes), and where your choices reshape who stays in your party and how the story unfolds. A pregnancy system and karma mechanics are in the pipeline. The catch is execution mid-flight. Translation from Spanish to English remains patchy despite manual rework; mission logs confuse; the day/night system needs refinement; and v2.2's system overhaul broke old saves with TypeErrors, forcing new playthroughs. The game is also unfinished—a female protagonist is promised but not yet playable, and the first act, while substantial, is clearly the foundation of something larger. For players seeking narrative weight and real relationship complexity over low-friction harem wish-fulfillment, and who can tolerate a game in active development, it's worth the time. For those wanting polish or a complete experience now, wait a few months.
