Editorial Don't bother
Abyssal Corruption is a deck-building roguelike with adult content, but the current build is effectively broken for many players: multiple reports of crashes, unresponsive menus, gray screens, and missing audio make it unplayable in its present state. Beyond technical failure, reviewers consistently describe the core gameplay as trivially easy and shallow—random clicking on cards wins, upgrades are pointless because you're already overpowered, and there's no real failure condition or strategic depth. The game lacks clarity ("What does development do?"), missing features (no gallery despite being promised), and confusion about whether this is even a finished release. A few players found it "weird but not bad," but the overwhelming consensus is that it's either broken or, when it runs, too basic to engage with.
