Eight Star Emperor (8th RAIZIN / 雷神7) is a space-based 4X strategy simulation game set in a galaxy of nine star systems. You take on the role of an Overlord, selecting one of multiple factions to lead, and manage a growing empire through resource gathering, weapons research, and fleet construction. Gameplay revolves around conquering rival planets, forging diplomatic alliances, and building power through marriage and court intrigue. The game emphasizes strategic decision-making, with branching consequences based on your choices of which factions to dominate and how to secure their assets. A key feature is the succession system: players can marry, produce heirs, and continue their dynasty across generations. The game includes multiple difficulty modes and playtimes ranging from 1 hour to 20+ hours depending on scenario.
