Absolvement of Viscaria is a narrative-driven RPG set in a world where the mysterious Kubel's Pillory Disease has plagued humanity for 70 years. Two "Absolvers"—sisters with the power to dispel the curse—undertake a dangerous mission to save those afflicted, only to find their efforts manipulated by dark forces. The game follows Liedna, possessed by a sadistic spirit that forces her into humiliating public acts, and Flambery, a strong-willed married woman coerced into submission as her antagonists gain leverage. The story emphasizes character development, moral consequence, and the slow degradation of a once-stable home, with the player's choices determining whether the heroines find redemption or fall to corruption. Combat is minimal; the experience is primarily story and character-focused, with multiple H-scenes embedded within extensive narrative and event sequences.
