Editorial Has potential
Zoolux Eternum is a creature-collection game with solid design ambitions and a dedicated community, but it's currently stuck in a state of apparent abandonment paired with persistent technical issues that undermine the experience. The creator hasn't updated Patreon or the site since December, leaving players uncertain about the game's future despite their genuine enthusiasm for its core loop and world-building. The sexual content itself lands well for its audience—players consistently praise the variety and quality of scenarios—but the game is hampered by a frustrating cluster of bugs: minigames that randomly spike in speed or fail to respond to input, quest-blocking softlocks (especially the Juno bounty hunter mission and Minotaurina sale system), save-corruption errors, and platform-specific failures on mobile (Joiplay). A detailed recent playthrough report suggests these aren't isolated—they're systemic, stemming from state-management issues that creep during extended play. For a released build, this is too much technical debt; players want to love this game but find themselves fighting it instead. The creative work deserves the interest it's garnered, but the build needs serious stabilization before it's ready.
