Editorial Meh
Yokai Art 2 is a tower-defense roguelike with striking artwork and some compelling character-interaction mechanics, but it's fundamentally hampered by persistent technical problems and unfinished game design. Save corruption, mode-balancing issues, and an oppressive gacha system plague the experience; the community consensus is that the first game remains superior, and this sequel needs several more patches before it's stable enough to recommend. The creative work—character art, some clever mode concepts, and the lewd-interaction unlock system—shows promise and isn't the main problem; the build itself is the obstacle.
