Description
A 37-year-old man named Watanabe Makoto, who has become completely isolated from society after spending years caring for his aging parents and witnessing their deaths, seeks shelter at a shrine on New Year's Eve. The shrine is a sacred space for regression to the womb. Through unexpected circumstances, Makoto undergoes a profound regression into the womb of Kamiwazumi Inori, a shrine maiden, beginning a transformative countdown to his symbolic "rebirth" on January 3rd. This intimate and transgressive journey becomes a process of recovering his lost self-worth and sense of place in the world.
