Editorial Has potential
Welcome to Greedcorp is a Papers, Please-inspired bureaucratic management game with strong pixel art and character design that genuinely resonates with players. The core gameplay loop—signing documents, managing relationships with Cassie and Leah, and unlocking multiple endings—is fun and engaging, with a synth soundtrack that complements the vibe well. However, the demo is held back by significant technical issues: screen resolution and fullscreen bugs plague many players (especially on ultrawide monitors and specific resolutions like 1366x768), making it difficult or impossible to interact with key UI elements like the sleep button or exit menus. Save functionality is also broken or missing, causing endings to reset or randomize unexpectedly. The ending-unlock design is confusing (players frequently ask how to reach Leah or Puppy endings), and common interactions—the paperclip tutorial, the coffee machine fix—can soft-lock the game entirely. The H-scenes are sparse and brief by adult-game standards. Despite the art and character appeal, the sheer volume of UI/save/crash bugs makes the current build frustrating rather than polished.
