Washed Ashore is a cozy adult RPG and shop-sim hybrid set on Cinderfall, a stubborn island where you've been exiled after a false murder conviction. You inherit a dusty shop in the town of Thornveil and must run it by day—pricing shelves, managing inventory, and negotiating with townspeople—while hunting and delving into dungeons for supplies by afternoon. At night, you face a mysterious rule: be indoors by dark, or face unknown consequences. The island's sharp and dangerous residents—including Zely the half-wolf huntress, Carol the calculating merchant, Daryon the ancient librarian, and Noxie the cheerful witch—slowly reveal that Cinderfall itself may have chosen you for reasons tied to your past and the real killer you're searching for. Gameplay combines a real shop economy with ATB-style tactical combat, dungeon delving, and character bonding. You'll set prices to balance profit against town reputation, dispatch companions on collection routes, and build relationships that unlock story scenes and character-specific abilities. Optional adult content is gated behind a single prologue choice, allowing players to experience either the polite or explicit version of intimate nights. The game features hand-crafted pixel art, a full day-night loop with weekly taxes and special orders, and a mystery that deepens with each companion's story.
