Viceburg is hamstrung by critical bugs that make it essentially unplayable in its current state. The most damaging issue is a save/load corruption that strips the player character of clothing, triggering unavoidable arrest sequences and forcing encounters whenever moving between locations—a game-breaking loop that occurs consistently enough to derail any playthrough. Beyond the technical collapse, community feedback is sparse and shallow; players are mostly asking mechanical questions (how to raise stats, whether cheats work) rather than discussing the game's creative merit, writing, or design. Without substantive player commentary on what the game is *trying* to do, it's hard to judge its quality as a work, but the build is so broken that quality becomes moot.
