Editorial Meh
Throne of Desire is a 3D H-MMORPG with gacha mechanics that draws players in with its attractive promotional art, voiced cutscenes, and a lust gallery of 2D and 3D adult scenes. The creative appeal is real but narrow: if you're here for the explicit content collection and can stomach an idle-leaning MMO structure, there is something to enjoy. The core problem is that most of the desirable content sits behind aggressive monetisation — gacha pity at 100 that resets on any SR pull, costumes priced around $75, and new H scenes locked to new units released every week or two. Several players note a visible quality drop between promotional material and the actual in-game models. On the technical side, the picture is grimmer. Multiple reviewers across different languages report persistent login failures, frequent disconnects requiring reboots mid-session, and instability specific to the Steam client. The game also imposes rigid daily schedules (world boss windows of 20 minutes) and demands an hour or more of daily chores to stay competitive. Taken together, the build feels unstable and the monetisation loop punishing enough that most reviewers — even those who see the appeal — walked away frustrated. A few reviews appear to be referral-code posts rather than genuine assessments.
